My procedure was a colonoscopy and i'd been lead to believe by friends who had undergone the same treatment that it was unpleasant. I was therefore extremely happy to experience a completely pain-free examination - without the need for sedation. The consultant explained very carefully what was happening and what she could see and the nurses chatted to me all the time so I felt very relaxed.
I was attacked by your Warwick hospital security guard, thrown over some chairs and suffered a punctured lung. No one asked my what my condition was. I had to go to Birmingham to be treated. It started when you lost my money on admittance to the ward, and nobody knew where my money went to. I it went to the pub via your security, obviously.
My nephew has received the most thorough care at A and E this morning. The nurses have been wonderful and even the ones that weren’t dealing with Archie still waved to him and smiled.
Archie had a thorough examination by the doctor who explained everything in high detail. Fabulous team all round.
You are all amazing, lovely team. So helpful and supportive
All staff looked after my Dad amazingly, he was treated very quickly and i felt he was in safe hands. They were also very supportive of my very worried Mum. Thank you so much everyone!
Was told via phonecall that I had an appointment at 0915. Duely arrived, 18month old daughter in tow, to be told by the receptionist that their 0915 patient had arrived. It turned out that whilst a member of staff had called me about the appointment and noted it in the system, the appointment hadn't been booked.
The more concerning aspect to this oversight was the way the receptionist treated me and made me feel like this was my fault and that the inconvenience was actually all the units and I should be more accommodating by waiting half an hour and "to go buy myself a coffee".
If found this attitude to be highly disrespectful and the lack of sympathy or remorse shown quite staggering and certainly totally at odds with what I'd consider good service to be.
Once seen, the midwife was wonderful and a much better example of the service I expect.
It's a pity they were let down by their receptionist colleague.
I brought my daughter in (2 weeks old) due to short breath, temperature, fever, congestion etc... we arrived at 9pm, its 2am and we still haven't been seen.
I find it unacceptable that a 2 week old child has been given such a lack of attention at such an early age. After a shocking birth experience with the NHS only 2 weeks ago, I have completely lost faith in the NHS service for myself and my child.
Disappointed, angry and upset.
Brilliant and caring thank you. Everyone was really kind and ensured excellent communication. Thank you!
Everything was brilliant, from care to communication to parental support. We weren't made to feel a nuisance at any time and all staff we crossed paths with smiled and introduced themselves. Gold stars all round.
Big shout out to Dr Tom Kenney in A&E. He was really great when our son broke his leg. He interacted really nicely with him (and us) and was very caring, professional and compassionate. He was thorough with his assessment and arranged the necessary investigations. He also got input from the orthopaedic team to review the X-ray. He kept us in the loop the whole time and arranged the necessary treatment and follow up with fracture clinic. He made the experience as pleasant as it could be for our son so thank you for everything you did.
The nurse and HCA who put his leg in plaster were also patient and great with him and put at ease through the procedure.
